(Minneapolis)– The Minnesota Timberwolves announced the team’s 2026 preseason schedule. The Wolves will play six exhibition contests, including one game at Target Center. Timberwolves fans will have the first chance to see the 2026-27 Wolves at Target Center when the team takes on the Detroit Pistons on Oct. 14 at 7:00 p.m. This will mark the 17th time the Wolves have played the Pistons in the preseason and first since 2013.
Minnesota will begin its 2026 preseason schedule by visiting the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m. This marks the 55th time the Wolves will play the Bucks in the preseason, the most of any opponent in franchise history. The Timberwolves will then travel to Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa to face Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 7 at 6:00 p.m. The Wolves will play an additional three preseason games, all on the road. First, with a matchup with the Miami Heat on Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m., then travel to New York to face the 2026 NBA Champions, New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. and finally wrap up the 2026 preseason with a matchup against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Oct. 16 at 7:00 p.m.
