Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves in a win tonight with a game-high 35 points on 13-of-25 shooting, including a 5-of-9 from deep, six rebounds and six assists. Tonight’s performance marks his fourth 30+ point outing of the season (96th career). Edwards’ 96 30+ point career games trail only Karl-Anthony Towns (101) for the most 30+ point games in Timberwolves history.
• Tonight marks Edwards’ first 35+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (20th career). The Timberwolves move to 15-5 when he finishes with 35+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists.
• Edwards has now scored 30+ points in a record ninth straight game against the Jazz, passing Moses Malone (Houston and Philadelphia; eight straight from 1981-1982) for the most consecutive 30+ point games against Utah all-time.
• Edwards has now recorded 10 career 30+ point games against Utah, extending his franchise lead for the most such games against the Jazz.

• Edwards scored 21 of his game-high-tying 35 points in the third quarter tonight, marking his highest scoring quarter of his career on the road and his 21 third quarter points are tied for the third-highest scoring quarter of his career.
• For the third straight game, Edwards connected on 5+ threes, the fourth time doing so this season and the 76th time in his career. Since the start of the 2024-25 season, Edwards has made 5+ triples in 33 games, the most of any player in the NBA in that span.
• Julius Randle added 27 points on 7-of-16 shooting and a career-high-tying 12-of-13 from the free throw line, eight rebounds, a game-high-tying seven assists and a game-high-tying three steals. Tonight marked Randles’s third 25+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (85th career) and his first 25+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist/3+ steal game of the season (seventh career).
• Randle tallied all three steals in the first half of tonight’s game, tying his career-high for most steals in a first half.
• Randle led the Wolves tonight with a +22 performance and is a +84 over his last three games, his best plus/minus over a three-game span in his career. Since 2002-03, his +84 is the best three-game span by any Wolves player over that span.

• Scoring 120 points tonight, Minnesota becomes just the third team since the 2000-01 season to open a campaign with at least 11 consecutive games recording 110+ points.

• Led by Edwards’ 21 points, Minnesota outscored Utah in the third quarter 40-25, marking a season-high-tying points in a third quarter and the second straight game scoring exactly 40 points in the third. The Timberwolves have now scored 40+ points in at least one quarter in three straight games marking the second time in team history doing so (three straight games from Nov. 11-15, 2019).
