Player Notes
• Making his third start of the season, Joan Beringer led the way for the Timberwolves with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting, a team-high 13 rebounds and a game-high seven blocks, all of which are season-highs. Tonight marks his first career 20+ point game, his first career double-double and his first such game with 5+ blocks. His seven blocks ties Kevin Garnett (Feb. 5, 1996 vs. Dallas) and Dean Garrett (March 16, 1997 vs. Boston).
• At 19 years and 152 days, Beringer is the youngest player in NBA history to record 20+ points/10+ rebounds/5+ blocks and the fourth teenager to do so in NBA history.
• Terrence Shannon Jr finished the night with a team-high 26 points, knocking down a career-high 14-of-18 from the free throw line, four rebounds and five assists, marking his third consecutive 20+ point game and third such game of the season (fourth career).
• In his past three games, Shannon Jr has totaled 82 points, the most points in a three-game span in his career and he is the third Timberwolves player this season to tally 82+ points over a three-game span.
• Joe Ingles finished the night with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, 3-of-6 from deep, six rebounds and a game-high 10 assists, all of which are season highs. Tonight marks Ingles first 10+ point/10+ assist game of the season (16th career) and his first such game since Dec. 30, 2022 vs. Minnesota as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks (14 points/10 assists).
• Ingles is the ninth player in NBA history aged 38 or older to record 15+ points/5+ rebounds/10+ assists and the first player in franchise history to record such a stat line.
• In 30:57 minutes of action off the bench, Zyon Pullin finished with a career-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting and a career-high five assists. Tonight marked his first career 15+ point game and first 15+ point/5+ assist game of his career.
• After starting tonight’s game, Donte DiVincenzo ends his 2025-26 campaign having started all 82 games, one of four players in the NBA this season to do so. This is the first time in his career he has played in all 82 games and he is the 16th player in franchise history to do so.
Team Notes
• With tonight’s win over the Pelicans, the Timberwolves finish the season with 49+ wins for the third consecutive season. This ties the longest streak of 49+ win seasons in franchise history (2001-02 – 2003-04).
• Led by Enrique Freeman’s career-high two steals, the Wolves finished the night with five steals, marking the 37th consecutive game Minnesota has recorded 5+ steals against the Pelicans, tied for the longest such streak against a single opponent in franchise history (Houston Rockets; Dec. 1989 – Jan. 1997).
• Minnesota finished the night shooting 50.6% (45-of-89) from the field, marking the fourth consecutive and 32nd game this season in which they shot 50.0%+ from the field. The Wolves are one of six teams in the NBA this season to record 32+ games shooting 50.0%+ and their four consecutive games doing so is the longest such streak of the season and the sixth time in franchise history they have strung together 4+ games shooting 50.0%+, one shy of tying the longest such streak in franchise history of five games (Jan. 6 – Jan. 13, 2000).
• Tonight’s win marked the second consecutive and 15th game this season in which the Wolves scored 130+ points, tied for the most consecutive games doing so in franchise history (10x; MR: Feb. 9 – Feb. 11, 2026) and the most such games in a single season in franchise history.
