Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards finished the night with a game-high 41 points on 16-of-29 shooting, including 5-of-11 from three, seven rebounds, four assists and a game-high-tying three steals, marking his second consecutive 40+ point performance and third such game of the season (22nd career). Edwards is the fifth player in the NBA this season to string together consecutive 40+ point games and one of three players in franchise history to record consecutive 40+ point games (Andrew Wiggins: Feb. 14 – Feb. 15, 2017, Kevin Love: April 13 – April 14, 2013), after having put together three such games from Feb. 5 – Feb. 10, 2025.
• Tonight marked Edwards’ second game this season with 40+ points/5+ made threes/5+ rebounds/3+ steals and the sixth such game of his career. He is the only player in the NBA this season to do so and the only player in franchise history to put together such a stat line.
• In knocking down five threes tonight, Edwards now has recorded six games this season with 5+ three-point makes. He is one of five players in the NBA this season to have six or more games with 5+ made threes. Since the start of last season, Edwards has tallied 35 games with 5+ three-point makes, tied with Stephen Curry for the most such games in the NBA during that span.
• Julius Randle finished the night with 17 points, 10 rebounds and a game-high-tying five assists, marking his fifth 10+ point/10+ rebound game of the season (287th career) and his fifth 10+ point/10+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (117th career). Randle is one of only eight players in the NBA this season to have 5+ games with 10+ points/10+ rebounds/5+ assists.
• Rudy Gobert added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, a team-high 13 rebounds and a game-high two blocks, marking his seventh double-double of the season (483rd career) and his fifth such game this season with multiple blocks (324th career). His 324 career double-doubles with multiple blocks ties him with Anthony Davis for the 12th most such games in NBA history since blocks became an official stat prior to the 1973-74 season.
• With five of Gobert’s rebounds coming on the offensive glass, he has now recorded four consecutive games with 5+ offensive rebounds, the longest active streak in the NBA and the seventh time in his career he has strung together four or more games with 5+ offensive boards.
• In 23:27 minutes of action off the bench, Naz Reid finished with 15 points on 9-of-18 shooting and seven rebounds, marking his eighth 15+ point game off the bench this season (85th career) and his sixth 15+ point/5+ rebound game this season (57th career).
• Tonight also marked Reid’s 192nd career game with 10+ points off the bench, the most in franchise history and his 99th 10+ point game off the bench since the start of the 2023-24 season, the most such games in the NBA during that span.
