• In 31:10 minutes of action, Terrence Shannon Jr came off the bench to lead the Timberwolves tonight with a game-high and career-high 33 points on 11-of-14 shooting, including a career-high 5-of-7 from three and five assists, marking his first 30+ point game of his season. Shannon Jr is the third player in franchise history to come off the bench and record 30+ points and 5+ assists and the first to do so since Dec. 11, 2019.

• Additionally, Shannon Jr is just the seventh player in NBA history to come off the bench and record 30+ points and five assists while shooting 75.0%+ from the field and knocking down 5+ threes and the first player in franchise history to do so.

• Shannon Jr scored 20 points in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game, marking a career-high for points in a quarter. He joins James Robinson (Dec. 30, 1996 – 23 points; fourth quarter) as the only players in franchise history to come off the bench and score 20+ points in a quarter.

• Making his third start this season (77th career), Naz Reid finished the night with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, five rebounds, a game-high and season-high-tying three steals and two blocks, marking his 33rd 15+ point game this (148th career) and his 26th 15+ point/5+ rebound game this season (109th career).

• Reid’s two blocks on the night gave him 78 blocks on the season and his lone three-point make moved his season total to 162 made threes. He becomes the only player in franchise history to record 75+ blocks and 160+ threes in a single season and just one of 13 players in NBA history to do so since the 1971-72 season.

• After missing the last six games due to injury, Jaden McDaniels returned to the starting lineup tonight, finishing with 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting, marking his 39th 15+ point game of the season (118th career) and his 30th such game this season shooting 50.0%+ (95th career).
