Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves today with a team-high 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting, five rebounds and two blocks, marking his 15th 30+ point game of the season (107th career). Including playoffs, today marked Edwards’ 122nd 30+ point career game, the most in franchise history and 20 more than the player with the next-most such games in team history (Karl-Anthony Towns: 102 games).
• Today marked Edwards’ first game this season with 30+ points and multiple blocks and the 20th such game of his career. All other guards in team history have done that just six times combined.
• Edwards scored 14 points in the first quarter and 10 points in the second quarter of today’s matchup, marking the 36th and 37th 10+ point quarters of the season (339th and 340th career).
• Julius Randle added 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-4 from three and seven rebounds, marking his 30th 15+ point game of the season (522nd career) and his 27th 15+ point/5+ rebound game of the season (493rd career).
• Today marked the 17th time this season that Edwards has scored 25+ points and Randle has scored 15+ points in the same game. The only duos to do that more this season are Boston’s Jaylen Brown and Derrick White and Denver’s Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray (18 for both).
• Rudy Gobert finished with six points and a game-high11 rebounds, marking his 20th10+ rebound game of the season (599th career), the third-most such games in the NBA this season (Towns: 24 games, Jokic: 22 games).
Team Notes
• The Wolves knocked down 14 threes tonight (14-of-40), extending their streak of games with 10+ made threes to 43, the longest such streak in franchise history, the second longest active streak in the NBA (Golden State: 44 games) and the 10th longest such streak in NBA history.
• In scoring 102 points today, Minnesota has now scored 100+ points in 92 consecutive games overall dating back to Dec. 15, 2024. This is the longest active streak in the NBA and the longest such streak in franchise history. The Wolves have also scored 100+ points in 51 consecutive road games dating back to last November. This is the third longest such active streak in the NBA and the second longest such streak in franchise history (62 consecutive games from Feb. 2021 – Oct. 2022).
