• Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves tonight with a game-high-tying 30 points, a team-high 10 rebounds and a game-high two blocks, marking his first 30+ point game of this year’s playoffs and his 16th such career playoff game, the most 30+ point playoff games in franchise history. Tonight was Edwards’ first career playoff game with 30+ points and 10+ rebounds, joining Kevin Garnett (seven games) and Karl-Anthony Towns (one game) as the only players in franchise history to record 30+ points and 10+ rebounds. He also joins Garnett (five games) as the only other player in franchise history to record 30+ points/10+ rebounds/2+ blocks in a playoff game.
• Edwards is the 28th player in NBA Playoff history aged 24 or younger to record 30+ points/10+ rebounds/2+ blocks and first since Luka Dončić on May 24, 2022 vs. Golden State.
• Additionally, Edwards is now tied with Donovan Mitchell for the seventh-most 30+ point playoff games in NBA history by a player aged 24 or younger and tonight marked his sixth such playoff game against the Nuggets, tied with Damian Lillard for the third most 30+ point playoff games against Denver in NBA history.

• Edwards scored 20 points in the first half of tonight’s contest, marking his 14th career playoff game with 20+ points in a half, the most in franchise history dating back to 2002-03 and 10 more such games than next player (Towns) on the Wolves all-time list.
• Julius Randle ended the night with 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting, nine rebounds and a team-high-tying six assists, marking his first 20+ point game of this year’s playoffs (18th playoff career) and his seventh such career playoff game with 20+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists. Randle’s team’s are now 6-1 in the playoffs when he tallies 20+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists.
• Tonight marked Randle’s second playoff game in a Timberwolves uniform in which he recorded 20+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists on the road (May 10, 2025 at Golden State; 24 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists), joining Edwards and Garnett (eight games each) as the only players in franchise history to record multiple such games on the road in the playoffs.
• Randle scored 10 points in the opening quarter of tonight’s game, marking the fifth 10+ point first quarter of his playoff career and his 12th 10+ point overall quarter of his playoff career.
• With Edwards (30 points) and Randle (24 points) each crossing the 20+ point threshold tonight, it marks the ninth time in franchise history the duo has each scored 20+ points in a playoff game, the second most-such games by any duo in franchise history, trailing only Edwards and Towns, who did so 10 times.
• Donte DiVincenzo finished the night with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including connecting on four shots from deep, seven rebounds and a team-high-tying six assists, marking his first 15+ point game of this year’s playoffs (11th playoff career) and his first career playoff game with 15+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assists.

• Tonight marked DiVincenzo’s second game of this year’s playoffs with 4+ made threes, his 10th such career playoff game and his third such game in a Timberwolves uniform. Tonight also marked DiVincenzo’s ninth consecutive playoff game with multiple made threes, extending the longest such streak in franchise history.
Team Notes
• The Timberwolves trailed by as many as 19 points in tonight’s contest (25-44 at the11:19 mark of the second quarter) before storming back to win the game and even the series. Tonight marks the second largest comeback win in franchise playoff history since the 2001 NBA Playoffs, both occurring in Ball Arena.

• Led by DiVincenzo and Randle, who each had six dimes, the Wolves finished the night with 30 assists, marking the first time during this year’s playoffs and the eighth playoff game in franchise history in which the Wolves recorded 30+ assists. The 30 assists mark the second-most assists in a Game 2 of a playoff series in franchise history (33 assist on May 8, 2025 vs. Golden State).
• After attempting 19 free throws in Game 1, the Wolves attempted 30 free throws in tonight’s win, marking the 16th time in franchise history Minnesota has attempted 30+ free throws in a playoff game and the first time since Game 7 in Denver on May 19, 2024 (30 FTA).
