Minnesota officials say over 14-hundred military service members are eligible but have not claimed a 2014 tax credit for service in a combat zone — and people need to act quickly because the deadline is one week from today (Mon 10/15). The state Revenue Department’s Ryan Brown says, “The credit is for 120 dollars for each month or partial month of service in one of those combat zones, and the average credit that went up for the 2014 credits [is] around 660 dollars.”
