Top Democrats acknowledge it will take more than President Obama’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton to woo Minnesota supporters away from Bernie Sanders. Minnesota D-F-L Chairman Ken Martin says party leaders must make sure there’s room for Sanders supporters in the party, embrace their ideas and ensure they have a seat at the table at the Democratic National Convention. Martin says, “If we do that, I think we’re gonna have a unified party coming out of Philadelphia and we’ll be ready not only to win the White House but win critical races up and down the ballot.” Martin says the stakes in the coming election are extremely high and Democrats cannot afford to be divided.
