Minnesota House Republican Leader Kurt Daudt says the University of Minnesota should stop paying the 114-thousand-dollar annual salary of a professor who’s serving time in the Hennepin County Workhouse. Daudt says the -U- needs to change its tenure policy, but in this case, “My hope is the University would just fire the guy. I have a hard time believing that somebody’s gonna challenge [in court] the termination of somebody who literally is incarcerated right now, convicted of domestic abuse, who has also been defrauding the university.”
A investigation by KSTP found at least 30 thousand dollars in questionable spending of grant funds by education professor and world-renowned explorer Aaron Doering. U-of-M officials declined to comment.
