(Brooklyn Center, MN) — A man is in the hospital this morning after being struck on the tracks by a Canadian Pacific train in the metro suburb of Brooklyn Center. Railway officials say it happened around 8:30 am. Officials say the train crew sounded the horn and applied the train’s emergency brakes, but were unable to stop before striking the man. His condition is unknown at this time. Officials are investigating why the man was on the tracks.
