The Triple A report shows around 80-percent of 19 to 24 year-olds surveyed said they’d engaged in distracted driving, running a red light or speeding within the last 30 days. Peterson says distracted driving is up “across the board” for drivers in general. In fact, he says distracted driving deaths are up by about seven percent–the single largest increase in five decades.
