Trump in Minnesota later this week

Donald Trump makes his first campaign fundraising stop in Minnesota later this week. Although the state is generally considered “blue,” Hamline University analyst David Schultz says Trump might be gauging whether he can force Hillary Clinton to defend herself in a place she’d otherwise think is safe.  “That would be a success on his part, because for every dollar she spends here, it’s one less dollar she spends in a place, for example, such as Pennsylvania.”  Schultz says if Trump makes another campaign visit to Minnesota, the Iron Range would be a smart choice, because he might find a lot of people receptive to his message there.
