A woman from Brooklyn Park died over the weekend when the A-T-V she was in broke through the ice on Kabekona Lake in north-central Minnesota’s Hubbard County. The son of 60-year-old Rose Peterson pulled her, his father and his sister from the lake and began C-P-R on his mother. She later died at a Bemidji hospital. The father and sister survived. Other family members were following the A-T-V on snowmobiles when it went through the ice.
