(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins have signed Korean slugger Byung Ho Park to a four-year contract, with a club option for 2020. The deal includes 12-million dollars in guaranteed salary. The Twins won his negotiating rights last month by posting a bid with the Nexen Heroes for nearly 13-million dollars. The 29-year-old hit .343 with 53 homers, 35 doubles and drove home 146 runs in the Korean League last season.
