(Oakland, CA) — Sonny Gray pitched six innings giving up two runs and striking out five as the Twins blew out the A’s 14-4 on Wednesday afternoon in Oakland. Twins shortstop Carlo Correa played in his first game since May 5th and went 2-for-4 with two runs and an R-B-I in his return to the line up. Luis Arraez had three hits including a pair of doubles. To make room for Correa the Twins optioned Royce Lewis to the Saints. Lewis his .308 with two home runs and five R-B-I in 11 games while Correa was on the shelf. With the win Minnesota improves to 22-16 overall and 9-8 on the road.
