(Minneapolis, MN) — Michael Conforto hit a double and a go ahead home run as the Giants rallied to beat the Twins 4-3 at Target Field. Conforto’s two run shot in the top of the 7th leap frogged the Giants over the Twins to hand Minnesota a second straight loss in the three game series. Twins starter Sonny Gray got the start and after the loss said his team is well aware of their current funk:
Gray got the start and lasted five innings giving up two runs on six hits walking two and striking out six. The Twins have lost three straight and five of the last six to fall to 25-24 on the season. The series wraps up this afternoon at 12:10 P-M as Joe Ryan takes the mound for the Twins.
