The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled six players from Triple-A St. Paul: right-handed pitchers Travis Adams and Pierson Ohl, infielders Ryan Fitzgerald and Edouard Julien, outfielder Alan Roden and utility player Austin Martin. Additionally, the Twins have selected the contract of two right-handed pitchers: Erasmo Ramírez and José Ureña.

Adams, who will be making his fourth stint with the Twins this season, has appeared in four games for Minnesota in 2025, going 1-1 with an 8.03 ERA (12.1 IP, 11 ER), three walks and nine strikeouts. For St. Paul this season, he has pitched in 19 games (5 starts), going 3-2 with a 3.68 ERA (63.2 IP, 26 ER), three saves, 20 walks and 58 strikeouts.

Ohl, who was optioned to St. Paul after Tuesday night’s game against the Boston Red Sox, made his major league debut earlier that night and took the loss after allowing four runs on five hits in 3.0 innings pitched, with one walk and four strikeouts. The 25-year-old recorded all three of his outs in the first inning vs. Boston via strikeout, becoming the first pitcher in Twins history (since 1961) to do so as a starter in their debut. Ohl has appeared in 22 games (5 starts) between Low-A Fort Myers, Double-A Wichita and St. Paul this season, combining to go 5-2 with a 2.17 ERA (66.1 IP, 16 ER), two saves, 10 walks, 79 strikeouts and a .209 opponent batting average.

Fitzgerald, who made his major league debut with Minnesota on May 16 at Milwaukee, played in two games with the Twins in his first stint, going 0-for-3 with a run scored. The 31-year-old has played in 58 games for St. Paul this season, hitting .281 (59-for-210) with 16 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, 31 RBI, 30 runs scored, a .369 on-base percentage, a .476 slugging percentage and an .845 OPS.

Julien made the Twins Opening Day roster and played in 29 games until being optioned to St. Paul in early May, after going 18-for-91 with five doubles, two home runs, eight RBI and 11 walks. In 69 games for the Saints, he has hit .275 (65-for-236) with eight doubles, two triples, 11 home runs, 34 RBI, 52 walks, a .414 on-base percentage and an .880 OPS. Over his last 15 games for the Saints, he has hit .412 (21-for-51) with a 1.225 OPS.

Roden, who was acquired via trade with Toronto yesterday, has spent most of the season at Triple-A Buffalo, hitting .331 (40-for-121) with nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, 18 RBI, 25 runs scored, 16 walks, a .423 on-base percentage, a .496 slugging percentage and a .918 OPS in 32 games. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound outfielder made his major league debut on Opening Day for Toronto and played 43 games for the Blue Jays this season, hitting .204 (20-for-98) with five doubles, one triple, one home run, eight RBI, 12 runs scored and eight walks.

Martin, who has missed most of the season with a right hamstring strain, has played in 31 games for the Saints this season, hitting .324 (36-for-111) with six doubles, one home run, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored, 20 walks, a .433 on-base percentage and an .838 OPS. He appeared in 93 games for the Twins in 2024, hitting .253 (59-for-233) with 18 doubles, one triple, one home run, 16 RBI, 41 runs scored, 20 walks and seven stolen bases.

Ramírez, who has missed most of the season with a right shoulder strain, has made seven relief appearances for the Saints this season, going 1-1 with a 6.55 ERA (11.0 IP, 8 ER), three walks and 12 strikeouts. The 35-year-old has pitched in parts of 13 seasons in the majors with Seattle (2012-14, 2017-18), Tampa Bay (2015-17, 2023-24), Boston (2019), New York-NL (2020), Detroit (2021) and Washington (2022-23), and has posted a career record of 43-45 with a 4.37 ERA (849.0 IP, 412 ER), five saves, 228 walks and 645 strikeouts in 327 games (96 starts).

Ureña, who was signed by the Twins on a minor league contract on June 24, has pitched in six games (4 starts) for the Saints this season, going 0-1 with a 4.05 ERA (13.1 IP, 6 ER), 10 walks and 13 strikeouts. The 33-year-old has pitched in parts of 11 seasons in the majors with Miami (2015-20), Detroit (2021), Milwaukee (2022), Colorado (2022-23), Chicago-AL (2023), Texas (2024), New York-NL (2025), Toronto (2025) and Los Angeles-NL (2025), and has posted a career record of 44-77 with a 4.78 ERA (966.2 IP, 513 ER), six saves, 359 walks and 645 strikeouts in 241 games (154 starts). In nine major league games (2 starts) for the Mets, Blue Jays and Dodgers this season, Ureña allowed 11 runs on 23 hits in 18.1 innings pitched, with five walks and 10 strikeouts.

The Twins roster now sits at 25 active players for tonight’s game in Cleveland.
