(Detroit, MI) — Byron Buxton and Royce Lewis each hit home runs as the Twins beat the Tigers 6-3 on Wednesday night in Detroit. Buxton made it 4-1 in the fifth with his 20th homer of the season – a three run shot. Mike Paredes made his first career start, lasting three innings and giving up one run on one hit.
