(Baltimore, MD) — Baltimore catcher Matt Wieters (WEE-ters) rapped out a walk-off single as the Orioles dropped the Twins last night in Maryland, 3-2. After a nearly two-hour rain delay, the two sides played two innings before taking another 70-minute break. Starter Chris Tillman struck out five of the six batters he faced before being pulled following the second delay. Zach Britton earned the win with a scoreless ninth. Eduardo Escobar and Kurt Suzuki plated runs for Minnesota. Kevin Jepsen took the loss. The teams are off today with game two of the series set for tomorrow at Camden Yards.
