(San Francisco, CA) — The San Francisco Giants avoided a three-game sweep with a 13-8 win over the Minnesota Twins yesterday in California. The Twins held a 5-4 lead heading into the seventh inning, then the Minnesota bullpen allowed nine runs over the next two frames. Giants star Buster Posey had three hits and four R-B-I for the Giants. Austin Slater also drove in four runs in the victory. Josh Osich picked up the win in relief. Eduardo Escobar and Byron Buxton homered for Minnesota. Matt Belisle (beh-LYLE) was charged with the loss. Minnesota returns home tonight to host Seattle at Target Field at 7:10 P-M.
