(Minneapolis, MN) — It was a marathon of a game but in the end it was the Marlins that squished the Twins by a 8-6 final in 13 innings last night at Target Field. The Twins rallied from a 4-1 deficit to force extra innings and tied the game again in the bottom of the 10th when Willi Castro hit a sacrifice fly to center to score Royce Lewis. But the Marlins scored three in the top of the 13th to close out the win and all but snuff the Twins postseason hopes. With both the Royals and Tigers winning last night the Twins are now three games back of both teams with just three games to go.
