(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins fell 5-2 to the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 at Target Field. Bailey Ober took the loss after allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk. It was Ober’s first loss since May 30 as he was 1-0 with four no-decisions in his previous five starts. Brooks Lee and Royce Lewis each had two hits for the Twins.
Minnesota has dropped three of its last four and sits 3.5 games back in the AL Central and 1.5 games back in the race for the last wild card spot. The teams play the rubber match of the three game series this afternoon with a 12:40 p.m. first pitch.
