The Minnesota Twins – who have won eight of their last 13 games, including series win in Boston last weekend – return to downtown Minneapolis for their fourth homestand of the 2025 season, a six-game stay against a pair of bicoastal foes. First, the Twins will welcome the Baltimore Orioles for three games from tonight (Tuesday, May 6) through Thursday, May 8. When the O’s depart, Minnesota will host the National League West division’s San Francisco Giants for three games this weekend, from May 9-11.

WOLVES BACK
Tonight will be an exciting evening of sports in downtown Minneapolis, as the Twins host Baltimore at Target Field (6:40 p.m. first pitch) and the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of their Western Conference Semifinal series next door at Target Center (8:30 p.m. tipoff). TENNIS COMMUNITY LEGEND FIRST PITCH
On Sunday, May 11, a ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Marcia Bach, a trailblazer for women in sports and a 48-year volunteer with the National Public Parks Tennis Association. Since she first began volunteering in 1977, Bach has been an advocate for the tennis community, serving as executive director of the United States Tennis Association Northern Section from 1989-2002 and expanding access to the sport in communities where it was not readily available. She won USTA Northern’s Jean & Hollis Smith Lifetime Achievement Award and was named Billie Jean King Public Parks Tennis Person of the Year in 2025.

o Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Brandi Bast, an RN at Glacial Ridge Hospital (Glenwood, MN) who is passionate about rural healthcare and caring for her community. A huge Twins fan, she began her career as an EMT with Glacial Ridge Ambulance and continues to volunteer with the Brooten Ambulance service.
o Twins Territory Flag: The Twins Territory flag will be raised by Becca Goettsch, an emergency department nurse from Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.

Wednesday, May 7 vs. Baltimore Orioles presented by Inspire Medical Systems (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)
• University of St. Thomas Night: Calling all Tommies! • Mental Health Awareness Day: May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the Twins will celebrate their Mental Health Awareness Day on Thursday vs. Baltimore. Activations include:
o Mental Health Tips: Mental health tips will be featured on Twins social media platforms throughout the day and displayed on the main videoboard during the game.
o Live Art at Gates 29 and 34: Local mental health nonprofit People Incorporated will bring its Artability program to Target Field, featuring live artists interacting with youth and allowing them to add to a large, group painting. The Artability initiative provides free art opportunities to community members, regardless of age, who find that engaging with art supports their mental wellness.
• Health & Fitness Day: Alongside Mental Health Awareness Day and Month, the Twins will host their annual Health & Fitness Day for local students prior to the game on May 8. Staff from Premier Sport Psychology will run participants through a series of fun and educational activities focused on mental health prior to the game. Twins mascot T.C. will also be on hand, with his new mental health initiative, T.C.’s Strike Out Plan.
• Celebrate AAPI Month: May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and the Twins will mark the occasion on Thursday with a pregame dance performance and anthem singer.
o Pregame Dance Performance: Prior to the game, the Blazing Sapphire Dance Team, comprised of 16 youth dancers, will entertain the crowd with a traditional Hmong dance.
o National Anthem: “The Star-Spangled Banner” will be performed by Koungla Kong, a Hmong singer known for her soothing and melodic rendition of the national anthem.

Activations include: specially-designed socks, pink ribbon patches on uniforms, pink wristbands and pink bats with the MLB breast cancer awareness logo for on-field personnel; commemorative base jewels featuring a pink ribbon; and a special in-stadium video.
• Cancer Awareness Day: Cancer impacts community members across Twins Territory and the Twins are proud to support cancer awareness.
