The Minnesota Twins – who are 21-8 in their last 29 games and 18-8 at home this season – return to Target Field tonight for their sixth homestand of the 2025 season, a six-game, seven-day stay against the Toronto Blue Jays (tonight, Friday, June 6-Sunday, June 8) and Texas Rangers (Tuesday, June 10-Thursday, June 12).

Entering tonight, the Twins have won 17 of their last 21 games at Target Field – including 10 in a row from April 25-May 19. The Twins are also 27-13 in their last 40 games since April 22, the best record in baseball since that date and tied with the Detroit Tigers for most wins in the majors in that span.

CITY CONNECT AND FIREWORKS FRIDAY
The Twins are slated to wear their Nike City Connect uniforms for the sixth time this season tonight against Toronto. Minnesota is due to wear the City Connects for every Friday home game this season. Additionally, tonight’s game will feature a postgame fireworks show set to country music as part of the evening’s “Country Night” theme.
HONORING THE CHAMPS
The Twins will recognize the Minnesota Frost – winners of their second-straight Walter Cup as Professional Women’s Hockey League champions – prior to the Wednesday, June 11 game against the Texas Rangers.
HIGH SCHOOL DREAMS
On Thursday, June 12, Target Field will host its fifth and final regular season high school baseball game presented by TRIA Orthopedics, following the conclusion of that day’s Twins-Guardians game. Thursday’s contest will feature an all-Iowa matchup of Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA) vs. Clarion-Goldfield-Dows (Clarion, IA). The game will feature a public address announcer and Target Field’s full assortment of videoboards and LED screens.

• University of Minnesota Night: Calling all Golden Gophers! Those associated with the University of Minnesota are welcome at University of Minnesota Night at Target Field! • Lou Gehrig Day: The Twins will honor the life and legacy of National Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig, whose performance on the field and tragic passing from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as “Lou Gehrig’s disease”) inspired generations. Over 300 members of the local ALS community will attend the game, along with the below:
o Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Eric Rasmussen from KSTP, whose father, Norv Rasmussen, passed away from ALS in May. Norv also played five seasons of minor league baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization in the 1960s.
