The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated left-handed pitcher Steven Okert from the Bereavement List.

Okert, who has missed the club’s last seven games, has appeared in 38 games (1 start) for the Twins this season, going 3-1 with a 4.45 ERA (30.1 IP, 15 ER), one save, 14 walks and 30 strikeouts.

To make room for Okert on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned right-handed pitcher Randy Dobnak to Triple-A St. Paul. Dobnak, who had his contract selected by Minnesota on July 30, appeared in four games for the Twins, posting a 5.87 ERA (7.2 IP, 5 ER) with five walks allowed and seven strikeouts.
