The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Travis Adams from Triple-A St. Paul, and have selected the contracts of infielder Orlando Arcia and catcher Alex Jackson.

Adams, who will be making his second stint with the Twins this season, appeared in two games for Minnesota from May 9-14 allowing three runs on six hits in 3.2 innings pitched, with two walks and five strikeouts. Since being optioned from Minnesota last week, he made one appearance for the Saints on May 16 (1.0 IP, 1 H, 1 R/ER, 2 BB).

Arcia, 31, has played in 39 games for the Saints this season, hitting .318 (48-for-151) with 10 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored, 14 walks, a .376 on-base percentage, a .556 slugging percentage and a .932 OPS. He was signed by the Twins on a minor league contract in January. The Anaco, Venezuela native has played in parts of 10 major league seasons with Milwaukee (2016-21), Atlanta (2021-25) and Colorado (2025), hitting .239 (778-for-3254) with 137 doubles, eight triples, 90 home runs, 347 RBI, 345 runs scored and 43 stolen bases in 1,104 games. He is the younger brother of former outfielder Oswaldo Arcia, who played for the Twins from 2013-16.

Jackson, 30, has played in 24 games for the Saints this season, hitting .239 (21-for-88) with three doubles, seven home runs, 15 RBI, 16 runs scored, a .511 slugging percentage and an .806 OPS. The former sixth overall pick was acquired by the Twins from Baltimore in November in exchange for minor league infielder Payton Eeles and was outrighted off the 40-man roster in late March, reporting to St. Paul. The San Diego, California native has played in parts of six major league seasons with Atlanta (2019-21), Miami (2021), Milwaukee (2022), Tampa Bay (2024) and Baltimore (2025) and has caught 148 major league games.

To make room for Adams, Arcia and Jackson on the 26-man roster, the Twins have placed catcher Ryan Jeffers on the 10-day Injured List (left hamate bone fracture), optioned infielder Royce Lewis to St. Paul and designated right-handed pitcher Justin Topa for release or assignment.

Jeffers, who suffered the injury during his at-bat in the eighth inning last night against Houston, has hit .295 (36-for-122) with seven doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 26 RBI, 26 runs scored, 23 walks, a .408 on-base percentage, a .541 slugging percentage and a .949 OPS in 37 games. Lewis has played in 31 games for the Twins this season, hitting .163 (17-for-104) with three doubles, three home runs, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored, 12 walks and a .540 OPS. Topa appeared in 23 games for Minnesota, going 0-1 with an 8.05 ERA (19.0 IP, 17 ER), two saves, 11 walks, 12 strikeouts and a .346 opponent batting average.

Additionally, the Twins have transferred right-handed pitcher Garrett Acton (right shoulder strain) to the 60-day Injured List.
