The Minnesota Twins announced that they have optioned infielder Ryan Fitzgerald to Triple-A St. Paul. Fitzgerald appeared in two games for the Twins, including making his major league debut on May 16 at Milwaukee.
Additionally, the Twins have returned utility player Mickey Gasper to St. Paul. Gasper was the 27th man for Wednesday afternoon’s second game against the Cleveland Guardians.
