The Minnesota Twins – who are 22-17 at home this season – return to Target Field today for their eighth and longest homestand of the 2025 season, a nine-game, 10-day stay against the Tampa Bay Rays (July 4-6), Chicago Cubs (July 8-10) and Pittsburgh Pirates (July 11-13).

Today’s 3:10 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays features a pregame performance by The Johnny Holm Band and a special holiday BBQ with $6 beer and drink specials, $10 BBQ platters and a $7 hot dog platter, all served up inside Gate 34! The Twins are slated to wear their Nike City Connect uniforms for the eighth time this season on Friday, July 11 vs. Pittsburgh. The Twins will wear the home white uniform today (Friday, July 4), along with special accessories for the Fourth of July holiday.
YOUTH BASEBALL SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS
On the field prior to the game on Friday, July 11, the Twins will recognize the club’s 2025 Nike RBI All-Star teams. Additionally, on Sunday, July 13, the Twins will celebrate their girls baseball 14U team before the squad heads to Sparks, NV to compete in the Baseball For All Nationals tournament – the largest girls baseball tournament in the world – later this month.

• Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Recognition: Prior to the July 5 game, the Twins will recognize members of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on the field, honoring the work that they do to raise awareness in the fight for a cure. A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Nikki Malnar, who has faced a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis with grace and strength, and who received a life-saving double lung transplant in 2013.
Sunday, July 6 vs. Tampa Bay Rays (1:10 p.m.; gates open at 11:00 a.m.)
• Welcome, Holstein Kiel!: The Twins will welcome German soccer club Holstein Kiel to Target Field on July 6; the team is in town to play an international friendly against Minnesota United FC on Monday, July 7. The team will do a jersey swap with Twins manager Rocco Baldelli and a ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by goalkeeper Marcel Engelhardt.
• Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Arik Matson, a former Waseca, MN police officer who sustained a traumatic brain injury after being shot in the line of duty. His resilience amidst an ongoing recovery journey was profiled in the documentary film “The Weight of the Crown”.
• Kids Day presented by Target: Every Sunday home game at Target Field is Kids Day presented by Target! Among the activities:

• Naturalization Ceremony: On the field prior to Thursday’s series finale against the Cubs, the Twins will host a naturalization ceremony, in which approximately 25 people will take the Oath of Allegiance and officially become new U.S. citizens.
• Ms. Softball Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by 2025 Ms. Softball winner Carter Raymond, a right-handed pitcher from Randolph High School who has committed to continue her playing career at the University of Minnesota. Carter was presented the award by the Minnesota All Sports Alliance in partnership with the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.

• Minnesota Vikings Andrew Van Ginkel First Pitch: Minnesota Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel will throw out a ceremonial first pitch on July 12 vs. Pittsburgh. Van Ginkel is from Rock Valley, IA, a small town that was impacted by severe flooding in 2024. The Minnesota Twins Community Fund provided a grant to help repair the local youth baseball/softball field and the Van Ginkel Foundation also contributed funds to assist the community with repairs. The Twins also hosted a clinic in Rock Valley in June, to celebrate the community’s progress.
• Gate Giveaway – Byron Buxton Bobblehead: The first 10,000 fans through the Target Field gates on July 12 will receive a Byron Buxton “Buck Truck” Bobblehead presented by Pentair; the bobblehead features Buxton doing his iconic “Buck Truck” celebration and the sound of a honking truck.
