(Minneapolis, MN) — Chicago’s Austin Jackson had a two-run single as the White Sox topped the Minnesota Twins 4-1 and spoiled their home opener at Target Field. Jose Quintana tossed six innings of one-run ball for the win. David Robertson closed it out for his third save. Brett Lawrie and Todd Frazier both had two hits, an R-B-I and scored a run for Chicago, which is 5-and-2 on the young season. Eddie Rosario plated the lone run on a ground out for the Twins, who remain winless at 0-and-7. Kyle Gibson gave up three runs, one earned, in five-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 0-and-2 with the loss. The two teams are off today and will resume their series tomorrow in Minneapolis.
