Twins resume homestand with series against Tigers

The Minnesota Twins are set to resume their second homestand of the 2022 season by welcoming Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers Tuesday-Thursday (3 games, April 26-28).  Here are highlights and promotions:

TWINS VS. DETROIT TIGERS: TUESDAY, APRIL 26 – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28 (3 GAMES)
Tuesday, April 26 vs. Detroit Tigers (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)
• Dollar-A-Dog Day: Fans can enjoy a hot dog for just $1 apiece at the Hennepin Grille and Taste of Twins Territory concession stands.
• Ticket Specials: Fans can take advantage of the following three ticket deals for the Twins-Tigers series opener:
o “Four Pack” presented by U.S. Bank: U.S. Bank provides fans with all the items you need for a day or night at the ballpark: a U.S. Bank Home Run Porch View or Field Box ticket, along with a hot dog, Pepsi and chips.
o Student Discount: The Twins’ popular student discount – $5 for any student – is available via mobile delivery; plus, students can download a free Metro Transit ride pass.
o Military Discount presented by Jack Daniel’s and Bally Sports North: Active military members or veterans with a valid ID, plus up to three guests, receive half-price Diamond Box High or Home Plate View tickets. Available in advance at GovX.com or day of game at the Target Field Ticket Office.

Wednesday, April 27 vs. Detroit Tigers (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

Thursday, April 28 vs. Detroit Tigers (12:10 p.m.; gates open at 10:30 a.m.)
• College Prep Day: For the first time ever, the Twins are welcoming representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities to take part in a “College Prep Day” pregame event for high school seniors at Target Field Station.
• First Pitch from a Hall of Famer: Wednesday’s ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by 2022 U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Hall of Fame inductee Charles Hallman. A staple of the Twin Cities media scene since the 1980s, a longtime reporter for the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, and a tireless advocate for Black and female athletes, Hallman will be honored by the Twins prior to the series finale against the Tigers – the team he grew up rooting for in his native Detroit.
• Ticket Specials: Fans can take advantage of the following four ticket deals for Thursday’s game:
