(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins salvaged their three game series against the Giants by beating them in the finale 7-1 on Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. Joe Ryan improved to 7-1 as he gets the win off five innings of work giving up six hits and one run while striking out four. Edouard Julien hit his third home run of the season to start the scoring in the first inning and the Twins rolled from there. Ryan Jeffers also went deep for Minnesota as the Twins stop a three game losing streak. The Twins move to 26-24 and remain in first place in the A-L Central. They’ll host the Blue Jays for three straight starting Friday night.
