(Chicago, IL) — The Twins stopped their three game skid with a 5-1 win on Sunday afternoon against the White Sox. Dylan Bundy pitched five innings giving up two hits and striking out four as he got the win to improve to 8-6. Shortstop Carlos Correa lead the way offensively as he went two-for-five with a double and his 16th homerun. That pushes the Twins record to 68-64 as they begin a four game series in New York against the Yankees. Meanwhile, in Cleveland, the Guardians suffered a 6-3 loss to the Mariners in 11 innings. That means all of a sudden the Guardians and Twins are dead even for first place in the A-L Central with identical records with exactly 30 games left in the regular season.
