(Minneapolis, MN)  —  After getting rained out on Saturday the Twins made the most of a double header against the A’s on Sunday taking both games and extending their win streak to five.  The day started with Carlos Correa hitting a pair of homers in a 6-2 victory and then they followed it up in the rematch by hanging on for an 8-7 win.  Jose Miranda broke the tie with a homer in the eighth inning to put the Twins in front and help sweep the four game series. Minnesota has also won seven of their last eight as they handed Oakland a ninth straight loss.  The Twins are off today but return to action on Tuesday when they host the Rays.  Pablo Lopez is scheduled to face Aaron Civale with a 6:40 P-M first pitch to start a three game set.
