(Minneapolis, MN) — Detroit catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia (salt-uh-luh-MAH-kee-uh) doubled in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning as the Tigers edged the Minnesota Twins 6-5 yesterday to sweep the three-game series at Target Field. Nick Castellanos clubbed a game-tying three-run homer in the sixth for Detroit, which has won five in-a-row. Mark Lowe picked up the win in relief and Francisco Rodriguez notched his seventh save. Joe Mauer went 3-for-5 with an R-B-I and two runs scored for the Twins, who have dropped four in-a-row. Ryan Pressly took the loss. Minnesota visits Houston tonight.
