(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins rallied a couple of times to beat the Mariners 6-5 to start their homestand with a victory on Tuesday night at Target Field. The Mariners lead 3-0 early and 5-3 after seven innings before the Twins put three on the board in the eighth. Marwin Gonzalez drove in the winning run with a single to right. Matt MaGill got the win and improved to 2-0 thanks to a perfect eighth inning in relief; Trevor May notched his first save of the season.

The Twins and Mariners meet again on Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m. at Target Field.
The Twins continue their nine game homestand tonight with game two against the Mariners. Jose Berrios will get the start and will face Tommy Milone with a 7:10 P-M first pitch. The Twins have won two straight at Target Field and all but one of their last eight on their home field.
