First baseman Joe Mauer hit his first homer of the spring, Miguel Sano hit his fourth and Jason Castro had two hits, including his second homer, when Minnesota and Tampa Bay played to a tie at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla. Hector Santiago gave up one run in 5 1/3 innings for the Twins, Steven Souza and Willy Adames each had two hits and Joe McCarthy hit his second homer. Jake Odorizzi gave up three hits and two runs in 3 1/3 innings for the Rays.
