Jepsen took loss
(Minneapolis, MN) — Milwaukee’s Scooter Gennett singled in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning as the Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 6-5 at Target Field yesterday. Minnesota pinch hitter Eddie Rosario tied the game at 5-5 with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning. Byung Ho Park hit a solo shot earlier in the frame for the Twins, who had their four-game winning streak snapped. Ryan Braun had an R-B-I single and Jonathan Lucroy a run-scoring double for Milwaukee. Tyler Thornburg got the win and Jeremy Jeffress his fifth save. Kevin Jepsen allowed an unearned run in the ninth to take the loss. The same two teams play tonight, but the series shifts to Milwaukee. Tonight’s game starts at 7:10 P-M.
