The New York Yankees have announced that tonight’s Yankees-Twins game (Tuesday, September 6) will not be played due to the forecast of sustained inclement weather.
The game will be made up tomorrow, Wednesday, September 7 as the first game of a single-admission doubleheader, which will begin at 2:05 p.m. (Central Time). The second game will start no earlier than 6:05 p.m. (Central Time). If the first game ends later than 6:35 p.m., Game 2 would start approximately 30 minutes after the end of Game 1.
Tickets for tonight’s game (Tuesday, September 6) will not be valid for the Wednesday, September 7, single-admission doubleheader.
On Wednesday, all Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 1:00 p.m. (CENTRAL TIME)
Fans with paid tickets for tonight’s game (Tuesday, September 6) may exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability) as described in the Yankees’ rain check policy, which may be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.
