Some are criticizing University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler for how he handled the situation before Athletic Director Norwood Teague resigned over sexual harassment allegations. University Regent Michael Hsu reportedly wrote colleagues expressing concerned that the Board was left out of important decisions. President Kaler responds he felt it was appropriate for him to handle the problem and report the result. Kaler adds one regent thought otherwise but, as far as he knows, 11 regents thought it was the right thing to do. The Board of Regents at its December 8th meeting will hear results of two separate investigations of the U-of-M Athletics Department.
