The U-of-M Board of Regents at a special meeting this afternoon (2pm) hears results of two investigations into sexual harrassment and equal rights complaints against the athletics department under former director Norwood Teague. One report is an internal financial audit, the other is an external review by two attorneys from a Minneapolis firm who were hired to look into the culture and hiring practices of the U-of-M’s Athletics Department. Teague resigned last August after two female administrators accused him of sexual harassment at a senior leadership retreat the month before. Regents Chairman Dean Johnson from Willmar says “we’re going to have a cleaner, more accountable department of athletics.”
