U-of-M’s Osterholm named science envoy for U-S State Department

The U-S State Department has named University of Minnesota Professor Michael Osterholm as one of five U-S science envoys for 2018. Osterholm will work with priority countries on infectious disease preparedness. He’s an internationally-recognized expert in the field, having previously worked for the Minnesota Department of Health.
