(Minneapolis, MN) — Three of the largest college basketball conference tournaments will be played in Minneapolis over the next two years. The Big Ten Conference announced the Target Center will host the Big Ten Conference’s Women’s Basketball Tournament in 2023 and 2024, and also host the Men’s Basketball Tournament in 2024. The 2023 women’s tournament will mark the first time the event is played outside of Indianapolis since 2015. The next year Minneapolis will become just the fifth city to host the Big Ten Men’s tournament since it began in 1998. The Target Center will host the events. Since the ’90s the two tournaments have combined to draw more than three million fans.
