(Woodbury, MN) — A 16-year-old boy remains in the hospital after being stabbed at a high school basketball game last night in the suburb of Woodbury. The incident took place at East Ridge High School near the end of a game between Tartan and North St. Paul. Officials say two juvenile males who were taken into custody have since been released and are not believed to be directly involved in the assault. The victim, who’s name has not been released, sustained multiple stab wounds and remains in critical condition.
