The state Campaign Finance Board has fined 5th District Congresswoman Ilhan Omar 500 dollars and ordered her to pay back her campaign about 34-hundred dollars for violating state campaign finance rules. It goes back to when Omar was a member of the Minnesota House. Omar says she’ll comply and is “glad the report showed that none of the money was used for personal use, as was initially alleged.” But Republican Representative Steve Drazkowski from Mazeppa says the Campaign Finance Board’s report raises even more troubling questions about Omar’s conduct.
