“I’m here to support Bernie Sanders,” says former Governor Jesse Ventura at an afternoon (Mon) rally in Minneapolis. Ventura says he’s “totally opposed” to Donald Trump’s stance on the military. He says none of the Republican candidates are veterans, “yet they all want to go to war. Well, right: They want to hold your coat while you do it.” Ventura says everyone compares his campaign for governor to Trump’s candidacy — but says “I’m much closer to Bernie.” Ventura adds, “I’m not here to be a running mate.”
