Reports are surfacing that Vice President Mike Pence could visit Minnesota next Friday, the day after President Trump officially accepts the Republican nomination. Minnesota G-O-P Chair Jennifer Carnahan says news of a potential stop by the vice president “certainly is impactful.” Carnahan says it “goes to show how important Minnesota is… to the president’s re-election,… and how we truly are one of the most flippable states in the entire country.”
Minnesota D-F-L Party Chairman Ken Martin predicts Pence will “paper over the administration’s incompetence and present an alternate reality… completely separated from what Minnesota families are dealing with each day.”
