The Minnesota Vikings have announced the following roster move:

5 John Wolford QB (6-1 218 10/16/95 30 4 Wake Forest Jacksonville, Fla.)
Quarterback John Wolford joins the Minnesota Vikings following stints with the New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars. He appeared in seven regular-season games (four starts) during his tenure with the Rams from 2020-22, winning two of the four games he started. Wolford also started the Rams postseason contest against the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 and was 3-of-6 passing for 29 yards before exiting the game with an injury. During the 2020-21 seasons in Los Angeles, Vikings Head Coach Kevin O’Connell and Offensive Coordinator Wes Phillips coached Wolford while part of the Rams staff.
