(Minneapolis, MN) — Vikings receiver Chad Beebe caught a touchdown pass with 46-seconds remaining, lifting Minnesota to a 28-27 win over Carolina yesterday in Minneapolis. The game-winning score came less than two minutes after Beebe fumbled a punt, nearly dashing Minnesota’s hopes of winning. Vikes quarterback Kirk Cousins was 34-for-45 for 307 yards and three touchdowns. He fired two scoring strikes to Justin Jefferson. Panthers safety Jeremy Chinn recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown on back-to-back plays in the third quarter to give Carolina a brief lead. Teddy Bridgewater threw for 267 yards, a touchdown and an interception as the Panthers fell to 4-8. Panthers kicker Joey Slye missed a 54-yard field goal with six seconds. Minnesota improved to 5-6.
