(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings re-signed a couple of familiar names on Wednesday at the start of N-F-L Free Agency. First, they re-signed safety Tavierre Thomas to a two year deal worth $4.6 million. In 2025, Thomas appeared in all 17 games for the Vikings, playing primarily on special teams. They also agreed to a revised contract with running back Aaron Jones to keep him in Purple. According to N-F-L Network, Jones agreed to lower his base salary to $5.5 million to stay in Minnesota. Last season Jones was limited to just 12 games due to injuries and rushed for 548 yards on 132 carries. He rushed for a pair of touchdowns and caught one more totaling 747 yards from scrimmage.
